Does Jesus have a Body at this time?

Just to illustrate the extent of the scriptural delusion that the Body of Christ has been delivered into I am going to discuss this topic briefly.

Popular Christian doctrine says “Of course” Jesus has a body because He is seated at the right hand of God, Eph 1:20.

Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (KJV)

This however has to be compared to other truths of scripture such as Heb 10:5 and John 17:5.

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: {hast…: or, thou hast fitted me}
(KJV)

Joh 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (KJV)

Christian denominations are fond of saying in their doctrinal statements that there must be a bodily return of Jesus.

Of course this is contradicted by scripture very plainly. In Acts 2:38 it is said by Peter that when a person repents (from Unbelief) they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then a few verses later during the same discussion (Acts 3:19-21) Peter says that when a person repents Jesus is sent to them.

Jesus is sent to the person who repents of unbelief as the Gift of the Holy Spirit as John 14:23.

Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

People who keep Jesus words have the Father and Jesus in their Hearts in a spiritual sense.

This is the Second Coming of Jesus that is mentioned in the New Testament.

He came once to die on the Cross and then He comes to Make His abode with us through the Holy Spirit, Heb 9:28.

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to (1.) bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin (2.) unto salvation. (KJV)

The Second Coming is a spiritual presence and Jesus prayer would certainly have been answered, in which He asked to be glorified with God as He was before the “body” was prepared for Him, Heb 10:5.

This short article then illustrates the extant of scriptural “delusion” cultural Christianity has been give over to.
