The Appearing of the Lord

The Lord will judge everyone when He appears, 2 Cor 4:1.

Ro 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

2Ti 4:1 ¶ I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.

The Gospel was preached to the spiritually dead people so that they could be judged, 1 Pet 4:5-6.

1Pe 4:5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

1Pe 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Unbelievers will not live forever, Rm 2:12.

Ro 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Believers Love Jesus appearing, Heb 9:28.

They are judged on the Day of the Lord according to or by the Law of God when Jesus appears to them.

2Co 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. Mr 12:43-44; Lu 21:3

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 ¶ I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

1Ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

A person is only accountable to the judge (Jesus) for what He understands or what Has appeared to Him.

2Co 8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. Mr 12:43-44; Lu 21:3

Jesus judges us when He appears. He appears to believers, but unbelievers do not retain the knowledge of God in their minds but perish. Although they are “inexcusable” (Rm 1:20-21).

They do not see life, John 3:36.

Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
