Paul’s view of the Second Coming!

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

1Co 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

It is clear from the verses above that Paul believed a person would be “made alive” at the Second Coming of Christ.

In Paul’s mind this had already happened to believers.

He wrote to His students in Ephesus and told them this had already happened to them in the following verse.

Eph 2:5 (RSV) even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).

This is not the only method that can be used to prove from scripture that the Second Coming happens at conversion, but it is very easily seen.

For the confirmed traditionalist, even reading this in the Bible will not be enough to convince them that the Second Coming happens to an individual believer when they put their faith in Christ Jesus.

That is why those who refuse to change from tradition to the Bible must not be allowed to place a stumbling block in front of real Bible students.

I know traditionalists believe that they can prove that the Second Coming has not yet occurred.

They are wrong and their ignorant attempts at unscriptural misdirection should no longer be tolerated.
